Top Tips
For the easiest way to see the sites, without having to drive may we suggest MadMax tours and Lions Tours who run daily trips to many of these places from the centre of Bath. We are more than happy to provide you with an early breakfast as most tours leave around 8.15am to 8.30am from Paradise Gardens, which is about a 15 to 20 minute walk down from Hill House.
For those wishing to visit Bristol the best route is by train which only takes 15 minutes from Bath, with three trains per hour during the day. A Freedom”AB” card will allow you to use the train and the buses in Bath and Bristol all day – the cheapest and best way to get around. Bristol is larger than Bath but is still walkable for the most part. We can print off a map for you so you can plan you day in advance.
