Please notify us of your arrival time. If we are at the house, we'll confirm, and we'll greet you at the front door. If we are out, please use instructions below to enter the house. 

There are separate entries for the Main House (All Double/Twin, Deluxe Rooms) and for the Summertime Apartment. 

For the Main House, Rooms 1 - 6, please proceed to the Side entry from Morford Street to the door that has sign Guest Entry. There is a code lock on the door (see picture). Place your palm over the lock for 1 second and the numbers light up. Enter your individual code, followed by Star *. Turn the knob and push the door. The door is often tough and rigid - give her a push and a shove. After you enter, please close the door tightly - a little slam will do. You don't need to close any locks, as long as the top latch is engaged on the closed door. Please proceed to your room - the same code opens your room.

Your room number and your code will be emailed to you on the day of arrival, after we reset them. 

For the Summertime Suite- your entry is through the courtyard. Please enter from Morford Street side, 3 metres to the right of the Guest Entry door, there is a smaller door of the same colour which reads Summertime at Hill House. There is a code lock on the door (see picture). Place your palm over the lock for 1 second and the numbers light up. Enter your individual code, followed by Star *. Turn the knob and push the door. Proceed inside and down stairs on the left. There is a lockbox with a key inside. The code to the courtyard door and to this lock box will be emailed to you on the day of arrival. This key should be left there as you depart.

Important Organisational Matters

Please contact us if your arrival time is outside of our check-in time. There is NO FRONT DESK, and our doors are locked at night. If you are arriving late, please ensure you have the self-check-in instructions before arriving. Our phone might not be answered late at night. If you have an early or late flight into Heathrow please consider booking a Heathrow hotel for your first night to make a more comfortable journey to Bath.

Bicyclists: apologies, but we do not have any cycling storage at the property. We do not allow cycles inside the house for the obvious hygienic and aesthetic reasons. This restrictions includes our back garden of the Summertime Suite.
